Are our packaging materials sustainable?
We understand the importance of sustainable packaging, and we are committed to finding the most sustainable solutions possible. We have started using packaging made from post-consumer recycled plastics (PCR) for all clothing orders shipped from our in-house facilities.
The proportion of recycled plastic per bag depends on each facility, but it is at least 50% for the outer packaging (white or gray) and at least 30% for the inner bags (transparent) used in shipments of multiple items.
In the future, we hope to begin transitioning to 100% PCR plastic packaging for clothing at our facilities, moving from 90% to 100%.
PCR packaging protects products just as effectively as regular plastic bags and has almost the same appearance. Choosing PCR plastic over regular plastic is the best way to minimize the environmental impact of plastic on our planet.
